Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a nonionic cellulose derivative which dissolves in both cold and hot water. It is used to produce solutions having a wide range of viscosity. Such solutions has typical Non-Newtonian flow characteristic. Haocell® HEC has unique combination of water. Water solution is smooth , homogenous solution , and good flow and leveling.

It has excellent water retention, film-forming, salt tolerance, and thickening functions in different applications.It possess excellent color compatibility, making it the ideal additive for latex paint applications. HEC can also be used in other industrial applications such as: oil drilling , textile dyeing and printing, detergent,textile, binders, adhesives, and etc.
